Celebrating British Farming with Greenhous Nissan at Battlefield 1403 Farm Shop
It was a true pleasure for Greenhous Nissan to have been part of the Open Farm Sunday event at Battlefield 1403 Farm Shop in Shrewsbury, last Sunday 9th June.
Open Farm Sunday is an annual celebration managed by LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) and see farms from across the UK open their gates to shine a light on the UK farming sector. Since 2006, over 1600 farmers nationwide have welcomed over 2.7 million Open Farm Sunday visitors, offering a first-hand insight into the work they do to produce our food, enhance the countryside, and all the goods and services farmers provide.
Greenhous Nissan displayed two models from the Nissan range at the event: the versatile New Nissan X-Trail and the Nissan Qashqai liveried in a farming theme. These vehicles combine performance and comfort in equal measure, making them a firm-favourite in rural communities.
General Manager, Greenhous Nissan, Julie Bates concluded: “Open Farm Sunday is a fantastic opportunity to bring together farmers, local businesses and the community. We are delighted that we could be a part of it, in partnership with Battlefield 1403.”
