DAF dealer Adams Morey opens new site in Bridgwater

DAF dealer group Adams Morey, part of the Greenhous Group, has opened a new 1.6-acre site with an adjacent 1.1-acre secure parking compound in Bridgwater.

The new site, which makes up one of Adams Morey’s 14 locations throughout the South and South West of England, replaces the existing site at Priorswood Road, Taunton. Kevin Swinnerton, Managing Director, Greenhous Group Truck Division, explained: “Driven by our hard-working team and the success of the DAF brand, we have outgrown our current location, so the timing is perfect to open the doors to this larger, purpose built, state-of-the-art facility.”

The larger site is strategically located less than two miles from Junction 24 off the M5 motorway and features nine workshop bays – including an in-ground lift supplied by Blitz and two loaded brake testers, one with integrated tachograph capabilities supplied by VLT to meet new DVSA regulations – and a truck wash. There are also imminent plans for the installation of renewable energy infrastructure.

The new site in Bridgwater will also hold £250,000 of parts stock, including Genuine DAF Parts and the TRP all-makes range, all backed by an industry leading parts delivery service.

The new Bridgwater site coincides with the launch of the Model Year 2025 New Generation DAF series, which sets a new industry-standard in fuel efficiency. Driveline and aerodynamic improvements have been made resulting in an additional 3% fuel efficiency gain, in addition to the 10% improvement already offered by the New Generation DAF. The New Generation DAF will be available to view at Bridgwater and can be ordered now.
