Euro 2024 Charity Football Match for Midlands Air Ambulance
As Euro 2024 fever sweeps through the nation, Greenhous Group and Morris Lubricants have come together to host a Charity Football Match in support of Midlands Air Ambulance.
Automotive group, Greenhous Group, has been in partnership with Morris Lubricants' for many years, using their oils, greases, and lubricant products at vehicle preparation and servicing centres throughout the UK. The two organisations came together to raise more than £1250 at the event, which alongside the football match saw some 200 supporters enjoying a day-out which included a BBQ, bouncy castle, charity raffle and a bake sale. Courtesy of Midlands Air Ambulance, visitors could also experience sitting in the pilot’s seat of one of their aircraft through their Air Ambulance Pod.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulance helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars serving the communities of six Midlands counties, constituting the largest air ambulance operating region in England. Since 1991, the charity has responded to more than 74,000 missions.
With the sun-shining, professional friendships were put to one side for 90-minutes in a competitive and close-fought contest. Ultimately, Greenhous Group came out victorious winning the match 5-3.
The money raised was a combination of £250 from the raffle and bake sale, alongside a donation of £500 each from both Greenhous Group and Morris Lubricants.
