Greenhous Introduce Mental Health First Aiders

With mental health issues becoming far more recognised and openly spoken about in the country it is only right that businesses look to support mental health in the workplace. To facilitate this Greenhous has appointed its first Mental Health First Aiders in Nicole Broadhurst from HR and Geoff Lowe Aftersales Manager at Greenhous Shrewsbury and Vauxhall Telford.

Both Nicole and Geoff have received training from Mental Health First Aid England. The training provided them with the facts about mental health and the practical skills to support well-being in the workplace.

At Greenhous we wish to work towards building a healthier community, free from the stigma that surrounds the mention of mental health issues. Geoff and Nicole have learnt in depth skills for providing support to people who may be experiencing mental health issues. This includes depression, anxiety and psychosis which are often not visible to others in the workplace, but affect the individual in all aspects of their lives.
