Martin's Upward Journey With Greenhous DAF Continues
Martin Hill from Wolverhampton has further progressed his role within Greenhous DAF, he is now the new Service Director for Greenhous.
Martin has been with Greenhous, based in Willenhall, since 1996 and so has many years of experience under his belt. After school he served a 3-year mechanics apprenticeship at another company before moving into the service reception. After a spell working for a body shop, he joined Greenhous as a service receptionist, eventually being promoted to the role of service supervisor before now making the move into management at Greenhous DAF in Shrewsbury. After 12 months, in February 2018, he took the opportunity to move to our bigger depot, Greenhous Wolverhampton, which held more responsibility. From managing a team of 14 technicians, 5 admin staff and 3 apprentices to 32 technicians and 9 admin staff. After being successful in his Service Manger role between both depots, Martin is now making the move to become Service Director.
While Martin enjoyed his role as Service Manager, he is excited to challenge himself in his Director role. He is looking forward to working with staff from all of our depots and is grateful to have made the step up.
In his spare time Martin is keen on fitness attending the gym regularly, enjoying cycling and also completing challenges such as, 10 km and 15 km Mud Runs and also the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours. He also owns a caravan and likes to spend his weekends there ready for work again on a Monday morning.
