Due to expansion, a fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join the Greenhous IT department as a Network Support Engineer responsible for helping to install and maintain the IT infrastructure and networking solutions throughout the Group. We are looking for candidates with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and a drive to succeed.
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 17.30 pm i.e. 37.5 hours per week. Occasionally may be required to work additional hours. 1 hour for lunch (unpaid).
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing day to day on-site network management across our estate of showrooms, workshops, offices and sites.
- Under instruction to provide basic fault findings and technical resolution.
- Able to travel to sites to install hardware and networking equipment.
- Assist with documentation and audits.
- Prioritize daily activities to accomplish assignments and meet project deadlines.
- Stay abreast of developments and new solutions related to IT.
- Assist with new project evaluations
- Drive Incident and service request ticket logging’s, ownership problem solving and updates through to resolution.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- GCSE Maths and English.
- 1+ years practical experience of IT with practical exposure to and awareness of network management matters.
- A good understanding of network infrastructure fundamentals.
- A willingness of ability to learn about new technologies and solutions and be keen to develop your own skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work both in a team and on your own.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A problem solver with a good level of attention and detail.
- Self-driven and motivated to work and improve things put in front of you.
- Reliable and organised with solid organisational skills.
- Full driving licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
