Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles' Multivan Wins Large Family Towcar Category at Caravan and Motorhome Towcar of the Year Awards 2023

Milton Keynes, UK – Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has secured Large Family Towcar 2023 accolade at the Caravan and Motorhome Towcar of the Year Awards 2023, with the Multivan.

Judges praised the Multivan for its great towing capabilities and how easily it was able to manoeuvre a large twin-axle caravan around the test route seamlessly.

The Multivan has a towing capacity of 2,000kg and is also available with Trailer Assist – a suite of safety systems including Park Assist and front and rear parking sensors that automatically manouevre the trailer and vehicle during reverse parking.

With a flexible seating configuration for up to seven people and a spacious interior with ample room for storage, the Multivan is designed to make long journeys comfortable for all the family. It is also the first electrified offering of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles range, with a plug-in hybrid engine available.

The annual Caravan and Motorhome Towcar of the Year Awards test vehicles across the industry on a challenging course, to determine the best in class for their towing abilities. The awards categories are split into caravan weight, electric and hybrid engine, and family vehicles, so that caravanners can find their vehicle which best suits their needs.
