The iconic Volkswagen Transporter 6.1 took the title for Best Value for Ownership in the Medium Van category. Industry experts praised the van’s all-around versatility as well as its exceptional ride and reliability. Despite the original Transporter rolling off the production line over 70 years ago, the panel noted the vehicle’s evolution and clear step forward from its predecessors.
Euro NCAP Gold Medal
Following extensive testing the Transporter T6.1 has been awarded a Euro NCAP gold medal. For the T6.1 range there is a wide choice of driver assist systems available. These range from Lane Assist and Front Assist with City Emergency Braking function all the way to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with speed limiter.
